When I posted about this incident on facebook

put the photo into meme generator and we had a good ol time trying to find a silver lining to this situation.

Apart from the hilarious jokes to be made from it no one was hurt. A girl in a truck had a gas pedal malfunction and lost control taking out a lamp post, a fire hydrant, a bench and another car before going head first into my house. The house only sustained wall damage, nothing was compromised in it's structural integrity.

The absolute best part to this is that we have not signed on the house, but have our offer locked in so the bank's insurance will have to pay for damages that include, new door, new siding, new drywall, new paint, new brick, new carpet in the dining, living and hallway, new kitchen floors and new kitchen cabinets. <3

I'm essentially getting a house makeover at this point (not that the place wasn't awesome to begin with) and move in has been rescheduled for July the 5th!
